large parrot

Hi Ron, I have 2 large orange parrotfish that are about 2 1/2 yrs old. They are about 5in long and fat as anything. Over the past week one of them has been hanging himself up in the branches on purpose and just hanging or floating there. Now the other one is doing the same. Their diet, environment, tank mates, and filtration has all been the same as usual. I added some stress coat to prevent injury from being in the branches. Any ideas?

Hi Lorraine,
 You need to feed them a lot less.  A fish should never be fat; that is very unhealthy for them.   They should always be a little bit hungry and eager to eat.
