Question
I have three Oscars in a 75 gal.  They are about 5 inches each.  My albino started attacking my red, and now the red is missing a lot of scales, and by the back tail you can see meat.  I have moved him into a 20 gal for now, but what can I do to help the healing prossess so I dont lose my Oscar.  Thanks

Answer
Hi Mike,
If he is still swimming, that is a good sign and means he has survived the initial attack.  The problem now is secondary infections.  You might see a white fungus rapidly appear on the wound.  I use a product called Paragon II to treat this but any general anti-fungus treatment should do it.
