PH difficulty

Ron---I have two convicts and two firemouths in a 30G tank. Lately the PH seems too low (6.2-6.4) and the fish aren't eating. I suspect they're sick. I change water once a week and already used all the PH-up remedies I could find. Any suggestion? Thx.

Hi Jeff,
  Hmmm.. convicts are not sensitive to pH at all. I never even check the pH of my tanks of convicts (I have many such tanks that I use in my research). I suspect the same thing for firemouths.

  When you change water do you use a gravel siphon? If not, you should.
