Ron,
My cons just had fry, but lately i am not able to tell the male from the female. They now look both male. No more orange tinge in the belly. What is going on? I looked so very closely under the light, i've been staring for almost 30 minutes and could not tell apart the male from the female. Help!

Hi Sueanne,
 Their colors change as they go through different phases.  During the parenting phase, the female often loses the orange.  It will come back again after they have finished raising this batch of kids and she is ready to have another.
