my beta doesnt seem as active

Question
My beta's activity rate has taken a sharp decline in the last week. It also looked like his one fin was damaged in some way. I put him in beta water and put anti-biotics in the water. He seemed better two days ago but yesterday he was back to just laying at the bottom of the bowl. It seems that he gets exhausted after going for food. Is he on his way out or is there something I can do? Thanks.

Hi Sean,
 Do you have a heater in the tank?  If the water temperature drops, a betta will naturally become very sluggish. They are tropical fish and do best in water between 75 and 80oF.
