long fin mollie

Question
i purchased a few mollies almost 2 yrs. ago one of the mollies has a beautiful long hanging fin. it is longer than he is, and at the end is a bushy white full multiple fan.  i searched and even returned to the same store where i purchased it and they have never seen anything like it.  any help in a species type?
by the way he is black, the only white is his or her full bottom fluff of a fin.

Sounds unusual for sure! I'm not aware of any different types of mollies that would grow such a "frill" though. If you could take a photo of it and upload to a free image hosting site I could take a look. Send me the link to your image and we can go from there.
