Green terror (male or female)

hi
i have 4 green terrors (1 male 3 females) also i have a bunch of other ciclids and some tetras ....they all live together with no fighting which I'm suprised.
anyway ....i bought 2 at first and got lucky to get a male and female but the next 2 i got turned out to be females, co how can i tell at a pet store which is a male or a female since they sell them very young and they don't really have any colors till they mature?

Hi Tom,
  As with many New World cichlids, it can be quite difficult to tell the sexes apart, even as adults, let alone as youngsters. It's actually something we are doing research on in my lab right now, but nothing concrete yet.
