My Oscar has growth over his eyes!

Please help!  My Oscar had a small white growth over his eyes, within 2 days, the growth became patches that totally cover his eyes.  Yes, he's blinded.  Can you tell me what's going on with him?  Is it reversible?

 Is there another fish in the tank?  Ususally white patches or cloudy eyes indicate that the fish is being attacked by another fish.  If left alone, the cloudiness usually goes away after a week or so.
