my current tank
hi jaymie, here is another betta question for betta expert. my betta lived at 80x40x40cm planted tank with many stranger like neon tetras, platies, mollies, and fancy guppies, but as far i know they dont nipp him, they eats and swim togethere here and there. im not using any heater, he eats a lot, everytime i come to the tank he goes up asking for food yet sometime im affraid his stomatch will blow up. the point is, will he feels comfortable to lived in such a tank? i think he has his base camp at the bottom right of the tank, he always stay there. thanks jaymie, good luck for you.

Answer
Lee,
To start, mollies are brackish fish. This means they like salt in their water all the time. I personally would not have a molly in my Betta tank. As for the fancy guppies, as long as none of them are males then they are fine together. If your Betta is staying in one spot a lot, then he is stressed with his tank mates. Keep a close eye to find out what fish is bothering him. Only feed him 2 pellets of Betta food daily. His stomach in the size of his eye so it is pretty small. Other than that, the tank looks good.

Edit:

That tank needs a heater. The fish are all tropical and the Betta needs his water at 80 degrees at all times.
