Why wont my Angelfish leave my sucker fish alone?

23 15:07:49

Question
I have four baby anglefish in a 30 gallon tank with a sucker fish.  The angelfish are always swimming around the sucker fish. It doesn't seem like they're hurting him, but I wanted to make sure.

Answer
Hi Lexie;

Maybe they just like his conpany! Seriously though, baby fish react to the activities of other fish so they can find food. They figure if other fish are eating, maybe there is something there for them too.

As long as they aren't hurting him (unlikely anyway) I wouldn't worry. Once they get more used to each other they will stop.

Followups welcome
