betta breeding....

Dear Mick,
 hi, I have a male betta and was wanting to breed it to a female but I am afraid that the female might kill it or he will kill the female... I have heard that bettas don't get along with ANY fish, is that true?...

HI, THIS IS TOTALLYNOT TRUE! first of all because i have bread sone in a small comunity tank.......anyways you should give the male a selection between at least 2-3 females this will actually reduce stress, along with buying them 1 or 2 live plants to distribute more oxygen to the fish and give them a scence of the wild.THANKS!
