Answer
Hello Ashley,
UNfortunately, there are about a thousand different diseases that african dwarf frogs can suffer from, and they are not as easy to keep as others would have you think.
Make sure you have the water between 78-82 degrees, make sure the water is not too active (lots of bubblers, extremely large filter, etc.) because they are very sensitive to loud noises and vibrations and these can be fatal to these delicate little frogs.
Also, definitely test your water and make sure the readings aren't too high, and if needed stabilize your pH. pH can be a huge factor in these little guy's health.
Start adding aquarium salt to help him recover a bit faster, and keep the lights a little dimmer for a while. Try not to have sudden movements or loud noises, or bumping into the tank. The less stress he has, the more likely he is to recover.
Lastly, keep an eye on your other fish to make sure he is not being bullied.
