Water Temps

Hi! I have a Ryukin, Marilyn Manson, in a 12 gallon tank. I would like to know
the ideal water temps for Ryukins. What is too warm? Lately, with the heat it
has been around 81-83 degrees F. I put a few ice cubes in the tank to keep it
at 80-that's what Petsmart told me to keep it at. Thank You!

I am going to give you two peices of advice.

1.) You should get your goldfish at LEAST 20 gallons.
2.) Never listen to anyone at a chain store. More often then not, they have no clue about anything.

Goldfish are coldwater species, and should have a temperature of about 68-70.
