MY MOLLY FISH

I'VE HAD A SILVER SAILFIN MOLLY FISH, FOR NEARLY 2 YEARS. IT HAD BEEN VERY ACTIVE SINCE WE'VE HAD HIM. JUST THE OTHER DAY, I NOTICED HIM WITH A BLOATED BELLY AND HIM SWIMMING ON IT'S SIDE. WHAT COULD BE WRONG? AM I OVER FEEDING HIM? --BECAUSE HE DOESN'T EAT, ALL THAT MUCH...

It sounds like dropsy their is a medication called maracyn 2 and it cures dropsy so that should fix the problem. If you want to aquarium salt sometimes help treat things like dropsy thats what i use with the medication, but becareful because an overdose can kill the fish so i hope it works out for you. Are you doing weekly water changes if not you should start because alot of food and waste gets stuck it the gravel so if you get all that stuff in the gravel out you will have a healthier tank.
