Question
i have 4 large chiclids and quite a few babies.  1 of the adults has a red bubble by its front most fin just under the gils.  It started as a white lump ( not ich) and it did not seem to bother her or make her any different, she has breed and eats but I want to know what it could be.  Can you help or lead me in the right direction to find the answer.

Thnak you

Answer
Hi Amy,
It's hard to say. It could be several possible things. It could be a tumor (fish get tumors) or it could be a parasite. In either case, there isn't a whole lot you can do about it and I am glad that it doesn't seem to bother her.
