Hi, i wondering how my 2 female jaguars which were both laying infertile eggs ended up having 10 frys?..........Plz help me ou here.THANKS!!!!
Answer -
Hi Michael,
Hmmm... that is an interesting one.  Please describe the
situation, i.e., are there any other fish in the tank or just the two jaguars?   Have you seen each of those fish lay eggs (which is why you think that they are both females)?

Hi,i have a couple of other cichlids convics, and parrot cichlids, and i saw both of the jaguars laying eggs at the same time in my 40 gallond, i just cant get how exactally, almost a quarter of them hatched! p.s. is it possible that since the convicts were breeding is it possible that the males sperm fetalized the jaguars?.PLZ HELP THANKS!!!!

Answer
Hi Michael,
Hmmm..  What do you mean that you saw both laying eggs at the same time?  Did you actually see the eggs coming out of the fish -- that is really hard.  Or rather did you see both of them pass over the surface and then there were eggs.  In that case, one of them is a male. The male has a genital papilla that looks much like the female's when they are actually spawning.
