male guppies and bettas?

is it ok to put male and/or female bettas with male guppies?

Hi,
No. Bettas are also called Siamese Fighting Fish, and for a reason. Unfortunately they are quite stupid and fight with anything that resembles another male Betta, and Guppies fall under that category.
Female Bettas are less colourful, but fight a lot less than their male counterparts.
Two male Bettas can never be kept together. You should also be wary keeping male Bettas with Mollies, Platies, Swordtails or other colourful fish.
