BLUE JOHANNA

Question
I have a Blue Johanna and it looks to be pregnant. It has a bunch of eggs coming out the bottom of it and not its mouth. Somethinghas also happened to the back fin and it is very red and looks like it is going to fall off. I don't know that much about fish so I was just wondering if it is normal. How should I deal with the mother, should I take it out or just leave it alone.thanks.

Answer
Hi Josh,
Unfortunately things are not good for that fish.  It sounds like that fish has either been badly beaten or has a bad internal infection hence the "eggs coming out the bottom of it".  Are they in the form of a stringy white thing, i.e., bumps connected by a stringy white substance?
