Water temp for Placo

Question
Placo is currently in 82 degree water and I plan on moving him to a pond with 75 degree water as he has outgrown the tank. How graduaL should the transition be? and over what period of time?

Hi Jerry,
 That isn't a big change for a pleco.  You could actually just move him from the one tank to the other.   

 A bigger issue with moving plecos is diet.  I have found that even large plecos sometimes don't do well when you move them because the algae is different.  If he has a favorite piece of wood or something in the existing tank, I suggest you move that with him.
