Fish tank kooties

I bought a 75 gal fish tank the beginning of September . Every fish I have bought has died . I have cleaned he tank totally twice . I have done the 25% , 50% , and like I said the 2 100% water changes . I have used chemicals I have taken all the rocks out I have removed all the ornaments . I have checked and rechecked the all levels and all looks good . I still end up with cloudy water and dead fish . Please help .

Hi Cassie;

You may be starting with too many fish at first. You will want no more than 5 total inches of fish for a 55 gallon the first 6 weeks and do not add any more until the 6 week break-in period is over. Don't overfeed so that break-in period toxin levels (ammonia and nitrite) don't rise too high. Here is a link to my article on it to give you more information;
