pregnant electric yellow cichlid?

how do u tell the difference between an electric yellow cichlid that has eggs in its stomach and one that just has a stomach that is bloated or has something wrong with it.  i don't know.  ive seperated it from the other yellow cichlid and two barbs i have.  but am just letting it be on its own just in case. if it is sick, what can i do?  (the fish swims fine and doesn't swim wierd.  it still eats if that helps.

Hi Brian,
 Unfortuntely, there is no easy way to tell.  If it is bloat, the fish will just keep getting larger and larger and often the scales will start to stand up on end.  If the fish is full of eggs, ultimately she will either lay them or resorb them.
In my opinion, there really isn't anything you can do.
