Question
----------------------------------------
My dominant male, a 6" Compressiceps - Malawi Eye Biter, has a stomach that looks hard and compact, like he swallowed something - a giant gumball or small walnut.
We noticed first several weeks ago, it has gotten bigger since, but seems to have stopped getting larger and he seems fine otherwise. He is the in a 55 gal tank with more Eye biter (looks female), five peacocks (one male and four female Aulonocara Stuartgranti), a large pleco and three yellow labs.
He eats a mix of cichlid flakes, cichlid pellets, some times dried plankton, with the occasional week with frozen bloodworms.
Do you know what is wrong and the correct treatment?
AnswerHi Jaybird,
Might he have swallowed a rock or marble?
Unfortunately, there is really nothing that you can do about this situation that I know of.
