My Sick Betta Fish :(

Hi,
I just got a Betta fish earlier this year and he recently started to seem very sick. He got very skinny and his fins are all shriveled up. He gets excited when I put food in his tank but then hardly eats it, and sometimes he spits out his food. I don't know what happened to him because I have another Betta fish who shares the same tank (with a barrier) and he's just fine.

Hi Shira,
  Hmmm... that's really hard for me to say without seeing the fish and the setup.  Is he being intimidated by the other betta? Can you put something opaque between the two fish or move one of them to another aquarium?
