Male Beta Fish

I have been trying to feed my beta baby beta pellets. Though my fish won't eat the food. He will just blow out bubbles.I am afraid he is sick but don't know what to do. Please help me and my fish!Thanks!

Hi Nicole,
  When you say he blows out bubbles, do you mean he blows bubbles that form a kind of mat at the surface?  If so, that is exactly what a male betta does.  He is making a bubble nest.
