Question
My kids and I went to the park about a month ago and caught some little bitty fish and tad poles in the stream.  Well the tad poles died thanks to my son putting way too much food in the tank but the two little fish survived.  I have NO CLUE what they are I am assuming minnows or something nothing all that spectacular or anything.  Anyway I have a couple questions one the tank water is yellow and I don't know how to change that if that is even possible.  Do I need to change the water? and two there are these little clear blobs all over the top of the water and a few on the plant I dropped in it was a bulb for a live plant that I got at walmart.  I am trying to figure out what these little clear blobs are Its driving me bonkers.  Any clue?  Also there are about 5-8 snails that are little that the pet store gave me for free.  Thanks so much for your help!

Answer
Hi

I will respond to too issues only , regarding the water you can do partial water change every week to refresh the water and others ,

the second is regarding the blobs in the water , try to use the water treatments , and water alga free , and you have to use 8 hours of direct light .
