Hi Dennis,
Oscars are particularly susceptible to hole in the head. The best thing to do for oscars is to make sure that they always have lots of very clean water. The way to do that is to do a 25% water change, once a week, EVERY week. This seems to be the best way to prevent and control hole in the head.
