Question
Hi There,

I've had a fighting fish for the past year and recently i've noticed a lump in what i assume is his stomach. I feed him 3 pellets 3 times a day (as advised by the pet shop). I used to mix this up with blood worms but he doesn't seem to be interested in them anymore. Is it ok to just be feeding him pellets and that many? could this be contributing to his lump? Also is it ok for him to eat mosquitos? Any help in taking care of him would be much appreciated.
Thank you,

Answer
Hi,
You're spot on. You're feeding is good (what type and brand of pellets are you using? I want to help you make sure your fish is getting the nutrition it needs.) and the mosquitos are fine, they eat far worse in the wild and the mosquito larva are actually fantastic food for betta.
