beginner

hello i have a 55gal tank with 3 assorted africans and a female black convict they are all about 1-2". i would like for the convict to breed after i get a male convict but i am concerned that the other cichlids will be a problem? and the i was wondering how many fish is ideal

Hi Greg,
  The other fish could be a problem but you have a large enough tank that the convicts will likely mark off one end of the tank as theirs and the other fish will have to live in the other end.
