i feel bad...

Question
I have a beautiful red male beta for about seven months now, and i feel like he's lonely, i want to put another fish in there, but i'm lost, some web sites say put an angel in, some say dont... i'm also wondering since he's been by himself for so long that he would do well with other fish?....

Hi Natalie,
 Bettas do not get lonely.  If you put another fish in there with him, either he will kill it or it will kill him.  Male bettas are extremely territorial; he doesn't not want another fish in there with him.
