My fish are dying

till yesterday 1 gold fish & 4 Black ghost where alright..today morng i saw tht gold fish & 1 Black ghost dead....and 1 more is about to dye..i dnt know y? plz help me with immidiete medication for them./.plzzz reply fast

Pooja,  I don't think this is started as a medication necessary problem. You did not say what size tank you have. Goldfish are lovely but, they are the dirtiest fish and they grow big (they are carp). They put out four times the wastes products your ghosts do. Also goldfish tend to be territorial and can be aggressive sometimes. Your ghost come out more at night so you are not seeing what is going on. The ammonia levels need to be watched with the ghosts they have no scales and are very delicate. They need caves and tubes too hide in. The ammonia levels with a goldfish involved especially if you have less than 45 gallons are going to get high fast and burn your knives. You need to be cleaning more often if you are going to keep a goldie with them though I would not recommend it. Make sure you are siphoning the stone on the bottom well and you have good filtration. At this point I would do a big water change and find another tank for your goldie. Sorry. Good Luck, Tina
