QuestionHi, I have a beautiful Dwarf Gourami that recently received an injury after getting himself 'trapped' in one of my aquarium ornaments. There was a small amount of bleeding but he lost a few scales and has some worn away skin.
Just wondering what I can do to avoid potential complications such as infection. I have read about aquarium salt and stress coat? What are your thoughts on these and do you have any other suggestions?
Regards,
Tim
AnswerTim, I am sorry it took so long to answer you. I would add some Melafix to your tank. It is a mild broad spectrum antibiotic. All natural. Treat for 7 days no carbon then a 25% water change. He will be fine Good Luck, Tina
