QUESTION: It has a lump at the front with a string coming out of it what could it be?

 Please explain and describe this situation more clearly.  I do not understand what is going on.

QUESTION: when i got my fish after awhile it got a lump that got bigger now it is really big and a few days ago string was coming out of the lump!

Hi Jelica,
 From your description it is really hard to day what is going on but it is possible that your fish has some sort of external parasite and the "string" you are seeing is the tail of the parasite.
