Gold fish and Koi

Question
I have three ponds on my property.  I have goldfish from time to time and also koi.  They seem to hide and I don't see them for days.  Are they sleeping or what

Hi Patricia,
 It's alright if these fish hide in your pond. There in a habitat in the pond where they can hide obviously so they will. This is a good thing though because when they hide they feel safe. Just male sure you see them when it comes feeding time but be queit not to scare them.
