Question
i use tap water for my fish aquarium and have put in the proper conditioner that they recommend and my ph is still reading low i was wondeing how to get the ph up with out disrupting the other balance's and my total ankility

Hi Cory;

Don't mess with the pH. Your fish will adjust to the pH your tank likes to be. Fluctuations are what harm fish so every time we try to change it, the fish get stressed because it often reverts back to what it was originally anyway. Our goal is to maintain a constant pH and not a certain pH reading. Here is an article about it that tells more;
