black mollies and babies

Question
I have two black mollies and one of them just had three babies. There are also two other different fish in the tank, same size. Do I need to take the babies out of the tank?

Answer
Hello Briana,
If they look like they can be eaten by ANY fish in the tank, including there parents, they should be taken out and put into a breeding net. If not then it will be safe to leave them in. You will need to crush some flake food up so the babies can eat also. Watch them closely and happy fish keeping.
