hi im trying to sink a piece of driftwood in a bucket and the water turned all yellow
will it happen to my covicts water if i put the driftwood in the 55 gallon tank

Hi Andre,
  You need to soak new driftwood for a long time (I do it for about a month), changing the water each week, to help get rid of the tanins which are leaching out of the wood and making the water yellow.
Even after that, the wood will still make your water a little yellow.
