Is it normal for my royal ball python to sit in her water dish with her head under the water?Won't this kill her?

My ball does the same thing! She loves to sit in it for hours at a time with just her nose sticking out. She should be completely fine.

Just as a thing to check on, some snakes will do the complete submersing when they have mites. Might be good to look her over to make sure she isn't trying to drown them.
