Question
Well i having problems with my python, i just bought my snake a few days ago but he's really aggressive. when i put my hand inside he's tank he try's to bite me. He doesn't let me go near him. But he's still shedding and he still have some shed in he's eyes. Could that be the reason why he's aggressive?

Answer
Hi Gerald

the shed is almost definately the reason that your ball python is aggressive. becuase his eyes are glazed over it is very hard for him to see anything at all and therefore he will be understandably more defensive.

i would advise not to go into his tank at all apart from to change the water until he has completed his shed. as alot of movement in his tank at this time will only stress him out.

after he sheds try and pick him up, if hes still aggressive feel free to ask me for help if you feel you need it.

thanks for your question,

Andy
