scratching

i have had my green water dragon for quite a while now and all of a sudden we have noteced him scrathing especally near its head is this normal or is there somthing else  i should be looking for?

Hi Melissa. Is he getting ready to shed? If he is, that can be very itchy for them sometimes. As long as the humidity is at a good level, and his water is very clean, he should be fine. If you can, look very closely at the area he is itching just to be sure that he doesn't have any irritation or mites. Thanks for the question! Nicole
