Question

M I have this picture my friend sent me of what I think is a Geckoe but im not sure what kind it is, but it is so cool that I wanted to find out. Can you please help?

Hi Dawn.

That's a Uroplatus gecko, commonly called Leaf tailed geckos and they are native to Madagascar . There are several different species and I have kept two (U. sikorae and U. henkeli) and succcessfully bred the henkeli. They are fascinating.

That looks like a Uroplatus phantasticus, the satanic leaf tail, here's a link:
