Question
QUESTION: u probly remember me lol.
ummm the end of spikes tounge is randomly purple? idk if he just bit it but it looks kinda weird? his formornal pores r getting a little more backed up so im still saving money to get him to the vet. ill try and take a pic for you but idk when i can. he just fell a minuet ago (into my hand actualy) so im hoping he just bit it.

Thanks

ANSWER: Hi Danielle,
Sometimes its not that the tip is darker but the rest is the tongue is very pale.  If thats the case, something is going on with Spike.  It may be an infection which would  need a vet to diagnose and treat the infection. When I say an infection, I'm referring to an infection somewhere inside his body.
The tip of their tongue can also be darker when they are hot or stressed, dehydrated, or, as you may think, biting it.
Make sure you give him lots of warm soaks in the tub to help with the pores. Also allow him to climb or crawl on something rough, such as carpeting or branches or other rough, safe item.

QUESTION: yeah his toung it normaly pink but the tip is purple i couldnt get a look this morning but im keeping an eye on him. also trying to convince mom to take him to the vet just in general.

ANSWER: Hi Danielle,
Yep, do keep an eye on Spikes tongue.  You may want you ask your mom about doing extra chores around the house to earn the money to get Spike to a vet to make sure he is ok.  Maybe even ask the Vet if you can sweep and scrub floors to help pay the checkup charge... Its tough sometimes to be able to get the money but we can always find some way to earn the money with doing chores, possibly baby sitting, etc.

QUESTION: yeah shes disabled so im trying to find ways. do u know what could disinfect the bathtub so i can put him in it? i wont rist bleash and im alergic so idk what to use.

Answer
Hi Danielle,
Below are two links that give you products to use and ideas.  There are two biggies involved with disinfecting...the amount of time you leave the product on the surface and the importance of rinsing, rinsing and rinsing again!!!
