help my guinea pig is dieing

help he is sick he was diagnosed with a resprtory infection and he was given antibiotics. Now he has stopped eating and barely drinks water. what should we dooooo.

I hope this finds your piggy still alive. Crush pellets, mix them with water and use a syringe to force feed him NOW. If you have Oxbow Critical Care, that will be even better. You should also run to the pharmacy and near the vitamins, get Acidophilus tablets and crush them in with his food mixture. He needs that to replenish tummy flora that the antibiotics will kill off. Then get him to the vet again as soon as you can. He needs help. Sick and not eating is very bad. I know he's already been and you know what's wrong, but the vet can make him eat and make sure his tummy is still working. If it stops working for too long, it will rupture. He can also give him subcutaneous injections to keep him from getting dehydrated. I wish you the best of luck and I really hope and pray he pulls through.
