anal impaction

my guinea pig gizmo is 5, i haven't taken him to the vet yet to get him checked out but i think he has anal impaction. and i was wondering what kinds of friuts and vedgetables would be best and if it will eventually go away with good care?

I know this does not seem particularly helpful but the vet is the best option. often a male guinea pigs testicles cause this especially in older boars. there is no real cure so far as I know (other than castration) though with regular cleaning and a more specific diet it can usually be avoided. Also it is worth noting that the guinea pigs need to redigest their poo and that the inability to do it will make them ill so it really needs to be sorted. sorry to not be more helpful but a vet is the best option.
