Guinea pig hair

My Guinea has been behaving very strange lately. She has been pulling out her fur on her back in a sort of V shape. I am getting worried because I'm starting to see the skin underneath. I never let her outside unless it is a warm summer day, but other that that she gets next to no exercise.

It sounds like your piggy is suffering from one skin condition or another. I would advise a trip to the vet so that he can diagnose whether the problem is parasitic or fungal. Either way it is easy to deal with.

If the vet finds no problem, the third possibility is that your pig is pulling her fur out because she is bored. If she is on her own then u have 2 real options. Firstly, to ensure you spend lots of time with her yourself. (If you dont already do) or to get her a friend.
