guinea pigs health

Hi Andy i have 11 guinea pigs i have not long started breeding them and everything has been going swimmingly.but the last few days they have been sneezing and an occasional cough. I have looked at the questions and answers on this site but all it really says is to use baytril which i dont really want to use is there any other thing i can use or any herbal remedies? I have started putting vitamin c tablet in their water and have started giving them loads more veggies but just started today so dont know if its helping them yet? 4 of my guineapigs are pregnent aswell what can i do for them?

One home remedy you could try is just a very tiny dab of vicks vapour rub on each nostril.

However, if there is an infection then you will need antibiotics. Has anything changed in their living quarters recently that you can think of.

For the pregnant females, the diet should be as normal with plenty of lovely hay, veggies and fresh water.
