QUESTION: HI I had to male guinea pigs and they grew up to know be about 10 months old, i love guinea pigs so i found another to at a pet store so i brought them !

there was no fighting or anytihnk that was a suprise but know my to older guinea pigs and fighting but i dont know why? can u tell me . they make  funny noises  like they are suking air in the mouses really fast. but i am not shore if they are bittting each other because they have long hair!know i have 4 guinea pigs and one older gp gets left out and i dont know what to do to make then all together again but will they just eventuly get along? and stop fighting or will it go on and on ?

ANSWER: Hello ally,
it sounds like they are establishing dominace. As long as you're not seeing blood I wouldn't seperate them. Here is a link on introducing guinea pigs and it will give you signs on how they try to dominate each other.

QUESTION: hi it is me again.
My to OLder  guinEa Pigs are know fighting but i dont know y i have seperated them. they where in the middle of a bigg fight and i was  trying to stop them and one of them took a jumping bite at my fighter and got it it didnt let go of it and then i lifted my finger up and skream then he let go. But it IS REALLY soRE ANd purple it was bleading bad. Can u tell me why they did this and [[ i have 4 guinea pigs ]] would it be safe to put one baby guinea poig with one older guinea pig and anthoner with the other guinea pig?


or Do i HAVe to Put the Odler ONes In A Sperate Cage and then young ones in another?





my friend has a outdore GP cage and i am buying that of her i also have a huge cage [[GP Cage ]] ANd An Old Bird cage..

at the moment i have put a cardboared peice in between the middle off the huge cage and one older GP in one SIDE and two baby GP'S on the Other ANd ANother older GP in THe BirD CAge [[ NO bird]]

You need to seperate the two guinea pigs that were fighting asap. You can try to put a young guinea pig in each cage with one of the older ones, but be sure to watch themm.
I can't tell you why they were fighting, but since they were in an all out brawl it's best to seperate.
