coughing guinea pig

my guinea pig coughs about 8 times a day hes eating properly he sounds like hes choking on something have you got any ideas many thanks

Its quite normal for a pig to cough, just like it is in humans.

Take a close listen to his chest. If you hear clicking noises between his breathing then this is a sign of a chest infection. Otherwise, I doubt there is a problem but of course consult your vet if you remain worried.
