My hamsters a week pregnent. what should I do?

My Hamster Jr. is pregant and next week the babies will be born. should I let the male help with birth. there syrain hamsters. He is going to kill her if he keeps trying to mate with her shes covered in scabs. what shoud I do?

seperate the male from the female. it's not good to keep the male in cage because he can and will try to eat the babies. Seperate them now so she won't be stressed out want to eat the babies as well. Keep her cage very clean while she's pregnant because when she has the babies you can't clean that cage for 3 weeks.
