ASAP!!!

Hello, I got a syrian short haired hamster, i dont know how old he is, i got him from a friend. I noticed he has a black spot but theres a hold i was wondering if its normal or if its his butt lol. my other friend has a hamster and her dont have any black in that area. So plase write back Asap!! I would really apreciate it!.

You never mentioned where the black spot is. I am guessing you mean hip spots. It can cause a wet look on the hips on the fur, or appear as a black scab on the skin on the hips. Some hamsters have a really obvious hip spot, and some you can't even notice it. Boy hamsters have testicles that look just like a large protruding butt.
