Help me with my hamster pls

Hi I HAVE A HAMSTER NAMED PEQUi AND SINCE 2 DAYS AGO SHE IS BEEN HAVING HER RIGHT EYE CLOSED, SHE IS GETTING ME REALLY SCARED, I TRIED CLEANING HER AND SHE GOT OUT OF CONTROL. i WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER, SHE IS ABOUT TO BE A YEAR AND THIS HAS NEVER HAPPEN TO ME BEFORE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Dear Allison,
this may just be that she got something in her eye, and she is afraid that you may hurt it more. I would leave her alone until you can get her to a vet, to make sure everything is okay. Try to stay calm, so she doesn't get frightened.
